In February 2017 my back pain returned with a pain in my right buttock. I had no shooting pains down my leg but I did have a tingling sensation from the top of my left thigh to my toes. The outside of my left shin and foot were completely numb. I took pain killers and hoped it would sort itself out.
The pain has increased and I have begun to struggle to walk without intense pain in my back. The tingling sensation in my leg and foot has become a burning sensation. I have given in and went to see my GP this evening. He prescribed Naproxen 500mg and Co-codamol 30mg/500mg. He also referred me for a MRI of my lumbar spine.
