The Return of the Sciatica!

In February 2017 my back pain returned with a pain in my right buttock. I had no shooting pains down my leg but I did have a tingling sensation from the top of my left thigh to my toes. The outside of my left shin and foot were completely numb. I took pain killers and hoped it would sort itself out.
The pain has increased and I have begun to struggle to walk without intense pain in my back. The tingling sensation in my leg and foot has become a burning sensation. I have given in and went to see my GP this evening. He prescribed Naproxen 500mg and Co-codamol 30mg/500mg. He also referred me for a MRI of my lumbar spine. Lord knows how long it will take to get the appointment and my brother had to wait four weeks after his MRI for the results! In February 2017 my back pain returned with a pain in my right buttock.
